John,
The Hunterdon Co. Library has several volumes of "The Jerseyman" at the
library in Flemington. All list members of NJ Hunter should try to take the
opportunity to review these volumes. They have a wealth of info of value to
us all...would love to see someone re-publish...I'd be first in line to buy!
"The Parish Register of the German Reformed Church of Alexandria, Hunterdon
County, NJ. 1763-1802", by Henry Race, M.D. is in Vol. 3, No. 4, published in

Forgive me!! I just had to share this little joke (?!) which was from
the November TAFT TALK and republished in the Newsletter of the Rhode Island
Genealogical Society:
" A modern mother is explaining to her little girl the pictures in the
family's photo album. 'This is the geneticist with your surrogate mother, and
here's your sperm donor and your father's clone. This is me holding you when
you were just a frozen embryo.

I'm looking for additional information on 2 direct descendants:
Dinah SNYDER born about 12/18/1794 and died 9/30/1845. She married Henry

Society's Cemetery file. Is this the cemetery next to the Post Office in
Baptisttown?
The other is Emma SNYDER who was born about 1864 in Frenchtown.. She

I have a Martha TEATS in my family tree. She married Alfred HARTRUM
in New Germantown (Oldwick) on 12-Apr-1862.
I'm only researching the HARTRUM/HOTRUM names though, but haven't had
much success with them either for the pre-1820s. :-(
Good luck with you
This is a great price for a 1775 fraktur. I'm sorry
it isn't my family! I'd be bidding for sure!

Noah Sharp SCHUYLER,born 1852, Mountainville NJ, AKA "Quarter Inch
Schuyler", so called, because he operated a Saw Mill, and always cut 1/4th
inch larger than ordered, in order to be "Fair".
Noah was the son of Nathan and Elizabeth Tiger Schuyler, and according to
legend, and Chambers, "went west". Apparently as a young man....
Seeking any information, because he was never heard from again by the
family... Indications were that he probably accompanied relatives, Tiger,

I was just in Flemington yesterday at the historical library. Basically,
there is not many records on my husband's Young/Jung and Wagoner families.
There is a well known Young family founded by Peter, that is NOT the Youngs I
am researching. This family favored the name Abraham. The Youngs were
members of the German Reformed Church which is now Presbyterian. I visited
the graves of Adam Young and his 2nd wife Maria Brokaw. Interestingly,
Maria's ancestors are my mother's ancestors.(along with To

looking for documentary evidence of the relation of JOSEPH BEAVERS to his daughter MARTHA BEAVERS, who married RICHARD GANO. I am researching my ancestors who served in the Revolution. I know that they served under COLONEL JOSEPH BEAVERS and COLONEL SILVANUS SEELY. If anyone has a pension application which states service under these two colonels I would be interested in knowing the details. I know a little about what these two colonels did and where, but I am interested in finding out more details about those under their command. I think the pension applications may help.
If anyone is interested in these two colonels, I have
