In 1771 and 1773, James Snell identified George LACEY as a resident of Bethlehem Township, Hunterdon Co., NJ. The LACY/LACEY name appears to be relatively rare. Can anyone identify which member of the LACY/LACEY family married Mary WILLIAMSON, dau. of Peter and Catherine (GRIGGS) WILLIAMSON of Greenwich Township, (then Sussex, now) Warren Co., NJ? I am seeking information on the parents of Henry Crum, b 6 Apr 1815, Readington, d. 29 Oct. 1897, Delaware Tshp. Henry's death certificate lists his parents as Benjamin and Sarah. Henry Crum is buried at the German Baptist Cemetery. Sarah C. Crum. born about 1791, died 18 Apr 1862, is buried at the Lower Amwell Cemetery.I have been unable to find an estate for Benjamin in Hunterdon, Bergen, Monmouth, Passaic or Salem Counties, places where the Crum name is found. 10. [NJHUNTER] Tiger family [1]
I also have an interest in the Tiger family. My great-grandmother was Mary Lindebury Proctor who was the daughter of Fanny Tiger and Casper H. Lindebury. It has been suggested that Fanny was the granddaughter of Jacob Tiger. All I know at the present is that there are several Tigers buried in the Lebanon, NJ Methodist cemetery and a few more in the Cokesbury cemetery. I would like to learn more about the Tigers, but have not had time to research this family in detail. Faye

Anyone done any work with the MANNERS name? My family comes from around Frenchtown - I have come up with many confusing references. They mostly seem to be John or James, which muddies the waters.
