Bill, Found a Fenwick Thompson "of NYC" m. 7-11-1816 Monmouth co., to Mary mount of same county. Married #2 Sarah in 1790 . She died 6-7-1796. Fenwick is listed as the possible son of Cornelius #3(1741-1826) . Hope this helps. Bev

--The name of the book in "The Havens Family in New Jersey". I have a reprinted copy from a Havens Family society called Havens Harbor. As far as (? Christian), I'm not sure whether Christian is a first or surname. I just copied it. My family goes back to John Haven's daughter who married Thomas Wainwright. Bev, Sorry to have jumped on you. Are name has also done us proud over the years. But we do care how it is spelled. Our family has had to put up with peoples ignorance since I was a child, with the constant mis-spelling of the name thomson.Mis-spelled on trophies, legal documents, newpaper articles, etc.,etc. I do feel that each name is unique and important to that person or family. Since we seem to be on a Tomson thread, I'd like to ask if anyone has come across an Agnes Tomson who died in Middletown Point in 1760. She is buried in Brick Church Church Yard near Marlboro, NJ. Hi Frank, Can't be of any help, but I also have a Zelpha/Zilphia/Sylphia ca.1790 in Monmouth county. Married an Elias Anderson in 1812. Responded because I do not have a maiden name on my Zelpha,etc. and since I also have Morris in the family, its as good a name as any. Any ideas?? BEv

Thanks, Bev. I have come across this Agnes, too, but the death date for mine is firm (will probated in 1760) so I don't think this could be the right one unless her death date is wrong. Did she live in Middletown? Have any of the daughters I mentioned?
