I am a descendant of Thomas Henry Noble, 1799-1864 and Sarah Ann Patterson Noble 1805-1878, through their daughter Nancy Jane Noble Benson, my great-great-grandparents. I have also tried to research her brothers and sisters since that sometimes sheds a lot of light on the family as a whole, which brings me to her brother Green Orr Noble who was born 15 Oct. 1

12. [NOBLE] Noble Family in Indiana [1]
Hello! I am looking for the siblings and parents of Wayne H. Noble who was born in Indiana probably between 1915-1918. I do not know where in Indiana where his family lived. Perhaps a 1920 census search for the entire state of Indiana would show him as a boy somewhere. From the stories I've heard about his late teen years, he hopped trains and ended up in St. Joseph, Missouri, where he found a wife, Ruth Turner. He and Ruth had two sons ... Wayne Jr. b. 1936 and Eugene Damon b. 1939. The family

I thought you might be interested in seeing these NOBLE family photos we recently received from a distant cousin. I forwarded them to Cecil Houk, who maintains an Oregon Trails web site, and he posted them on his page. Pictured are William Sherman Noble & Sarah Sultzberger Noble, who emigrated from Ohio to Oregon via the Oregon Trail in 1850. Several of their offspring are also pictured. There is no photo of their daughter Charity Ann Noble Marks, however, who was my great-grandmother. http://freepages

24. [NOBLE-L] New to the list [1]
Hi everyone, I am probably really grasping at straws here....but thought I'd give it a try. My grandmother was originally a NOBRIGA and was born in 1905 in Hawaii. Her family had come to Hawaii from Portugal. I have been at a dead end for about 3 years on trying to find anything on this family. My grandmother says that the name was changed to NOBLE by one of the brothers probably between 1905-1920. Would anyone out there be researching NOBLES that were NOBRIGAS? Thanks for your time........Gayle
25. [NOBLE-L] Re: Nobles [1]
Does Boltwood's book tell the names of Harriet Noble Williams and John M. Williams children? I have that they had Clara Bell, Benjamin Franklin, Ella Amelia and Edward Noble (my great grandfather). Also I was wondering if the book said if John Williams was from Iowa or if they had just lived there. My Harriet and John were married in Ohio, John was previously married in Ohio so I think he must have been from Ohio. But I don't know if they stayed there after they were married. Thanks for your time!
