Hello From Canada, I am looking for the family of Richard Henry SPECK. He may have used the name Harry Richard SPECK. According to family sources he did not like the name Henry. His wife is Nora E. WILLIAMS. No additional inforamtion. According to family sources Richard SPECK and Nora WILLIAMS were born and married in Ontario, Canada. Based on this information Richard SPECK may have lived in California between 1906 (married Ontario, Canada) and 1931 (died California). Possible location maybe Long Beach

George - could your Samuel be related to Elizabeth HAINES or some WHITEHOUSE names? Found citation on a Samuel BAKER - but that is such a common name. There are scads of them. I was unable to find any indication of him in the CADI - none in 1930's that even was close to that age - are you sure he died in CA? Could he have died in NV? Can someone do a obituary search for me? I am looking for Maximilllian J. Mader, date of death 11-15-1935 in Alameda County. Family rumor has it that he was hit by a car, which possibly broke a leg, gangrene set it, they removed parts, infection spread, death. STEVE: Many women will have remarried since this book was published in 1913, e.g. my aunt, Nancollis, Lana Abbott. She married Guffey later. How about inviting researchers to send in later surnames and they could be cross indexed as: Guffey, Lana (see Nancollis)? Otherwise, people will look for names and not find them.
