Hi to Mark and all,
Have I seen the above surnames being researched here or am I getting confused
with Thurlow?
A friend has an interest in this/these names in Norfolk, Suffolk and
Lincolnshire before the U.S.

Lynne

Hi to Jeanne and all,
Are the above records available from the LDS and if so are they known by this
name. I sometimes get confused by the different names used by the LDS for
their records.
Thanks for this info.

Hi to Mark and all,
Was waiting to see replies to the query about Nova Scotia in Norfolk.
When I saw this query remembered I have an ancestor who enlisted in the Army
there which we all assumed was Canada but now wondering.
Did I miss any replies or were they sent privately?

Hi All!
Is there any kind soul out there with easy access to the 1881 Census for
Norfolk?
I am looking for an Annie Laurie BEDFORD who would have been a girl at
the time as she married about 1893.
I would be very grateful if anyone could find her and let me know any
info.
Many thanks,
Ted Nobbs.

I need some help please.
In 1891 census I found two nieces Blanche Amelia (15) and Elinor Julia
(13) WALLER living with their widowed aunt Martha Anna BAYLES at 114
Trinity Street. Their place of birth is "Alexandria, Egypt (British
subject)".
How do I research this? Can anyone tell me where would the records be?
All I need is a birth certificate to verify whether or not they are
daughters of Robert WALLER who has been untraceable so far. It would
also explain why I have found no record of my grandmo

I am looking for the families of John Simmons and Mary Ann Dickerson who
were married at Norton Subcourse in 1815. They had a son John there in 1817
and Mary, Sarah, Rhoda and Sophia are on the 1841 census of Toftmonks. I'd
also like to know where the name Subcourse comes from-a canal or waterway
of some sort? Please answer at my Email address or 226 Lakeside Drive,

Greetings everyone
First time caller....
I am from New Zealand and have offered to aid an elderly local couple
who have been researching their kin with no success for a number of
years in Nova Scotia, Nth America. A check on an old atlas, circa 1898
shows a Nova Scotia in Norfolk, hence this question:-

I thought I would like to share an amusing little story that I
discovered quite by chance. A while ago I made contact with a KENDALL
relation here in NZ who asked if I had seen the newspaper clipping
about bones under the bed, which I hadn't. A few months later,
enclosed with a reply from the vicar at St Andrew's Church, Guist,
was the actual newspaper clipping. He and his wife had presumed
that,. as I was researching the KENDALLs of the village, he thought I would be
interested in a newspaper cli

Hello to all Norfolk subscribers. A branch of my family is sid to come
from the town of Walsingham, Norfolk. The name is MILLS and the name is
George Frederick Alexander MILLS - married Emma LANCASTER - place unknown.
The reason why I think this family originated in this area is that one of
their Grandchildren visited and worked in the town in the 1920's and wrote
an extensive poem - published 1934 - about the town. If anyone would like
a copy of this poem I would be glad to email it on.

I am searching for any information on my great grandfather, Naylor
Dolton, born May 21, 1837 in Tipps End, Cambridgeshire, ENG., an area I
am lead to believe is on the Norfolk border and may very well be now
part of Norfolk. (Supposed to have been near Welney?) I would like to
know sources of data (ie Census) for the time immediately after his
birth up to approximately 1855, when he was to have emmigrated to the
USA via New York. His father's name was John Dolton, his mother was
Sarah Julen. He may have
