Hallo Debbie! Here is the only one I could find in the archives, his fathers name is Jesper, came from Vaage farm on Waagsx, Selx (Selloe), it is in Nordre Bergenhuus, (Sogn & Fjordane). He left for the US from Bergen in the 29.5. 1890, his birth is in 1866. No info about what ship, Here is from the list: 1890 749 29/5 Ole Jespersen Vaage 24 1866 m Selx Selx ug Grdmdssxn There were some Jebsen, none with the name Ole. This is just a try, you never know! Thanks Dawn, Thanks for trying. BTW, I have some info on descendants of Olaf Erickson born nov 11, 1883 in Jamtland, Sweden,, I know, I know!!! He was the son of Erick Olson and Regina Hanson. They ended up in a Scandanavian settlement south of Melfort, Saskatchewan,Canada, an area known as South Star. It may be of some use to other mixed heritage people, (like me) Dianne 8-)

Martin, I did research at the library today. As far as the Gabrielsen's Jacob S and Johanna show up in 1915 as living at 5039 40th Ave, SW Seattle. He was listed as a seaman with SJF & P CO (I do not have any information on this company) They continue to reside at the same address. He is identified as a ship carpenter-1920, millworker-1925. As I recall there were quite a few from that community on that ship. The resources are growing and you may wish to use the internet.
