I want to thank everyone for the help, especially R.Fraser and Nancy MacDonald. I riceived Information that Colin Lived in Girlock, Pictiou, Co. Nova Scotia, before coming to Cape Britian.He emi in 1842 and was married to Mary MacRae. His two older sons were said to have been born in in Gairlock. Rodrick was born 16 May 1845. They moved not to long after. Does anyone Know where I should look for the birth records? Also do emi. papers tell where they were from or where they were born?

Roberta I don't think Colin Urquhart was born Baularderie. I have No documents. I think he was born in Scotland, but I don't know where. The family said Colin lived in Gairlock before coming to C.B. Rodrick and brother John Listed as beng born in Gairlock at the time he was married to his 1st wife Mary MacRae. I think Gairlock is in Pictou Co.
