Hi everyone I have a transcript of a marriage dated 28/04/1862 between Alan TIPPER and Mary Ann CHANNELL in Orange and I am interested in the witnesses Clement SHAKESPEAR and Annie CULVERSON If anyone knows anything about them I would appreciate details as it could help explain why Mary Ann moved from her family in Camden to Orange. Dear all, would anyone else be interested in the Coopes (aka Coups or Coops) of Wattle Flat near Sofala (1857 to 188x). Peter Coopes married Hannah Martin in 1853 at Hunters Hill Sydney and moved to Wattle Flat about 1857. They had about 14 children and I understand that some descendants still live in the Bathurst region. Adelaide Coopes was my gggrandmother. regards Ray

Guntawang was originally stolen by the Cox family in 1822. They were forced to abandon it a couple of years later after hostilities with the local Wiradjuri. Doreen, Peat and Milson Islands are on the Hawkesbury River, just west of the Hawkesbury River bridge, which is on the Pacific H'way between Sydney and Gosford.
