If I were you, I would start with the LDS website
(http://www.familysearch.org). Look for naturalization and citizenship
under St. Lawrence County and see what they have filmed. (under library
catalog)

Here is a wonderful website to search ancestors from New Brunswick which
is on the East coast of Canada. It includes Saint John, Moncton and
Fredericton.
http://archives.gnb.ca/Archives/EN/default.aspx
This site includes an on line data base for their vital records which
include births, marriages and deaths. Under Other Resources, the County
Guide is a 24 page guide to doing genealogy resource which includes
films numbers for various records.
I will be adding this link to the NY-CAN-NY mailing list
I have put the naturalization declarations for Aug to Dec 1853 on line.
You will find more info than what I originally posted to the list. I
have added date of arrival in USA, place of residence and date of
declaration.
You can access the table at the Rensselaer County website:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~nyrenss2/
At the Rensselaer County homepage, under Genealogy, you will find a link
for Naturalizations and Citizenship. Once on that page you will find
the link under the section, Rensselaer County N

them on line at the Rensselaer County website but for the present, I am
going to begin to post just the name, age and county of birth. I will
post them
