Hello, I am looking for the families who left Nova Scotia and moved to NEW YORK, MOUNT VERNON, I know that they lived there in 1856 per old letters. The families are as follows: SARAH MCLEOD WISDOM 1818-1903 married WILLIAM WISDOM in Nov of 1843 Canada. Sons are Robert b. Oct 8th 1844 and John born Aug 22, 1846. SAMUEL MCLEOD 1815- 1866 he was a tailor by trade. Married ISABELLA WHYTE had a large family of 5 sons and 3 daughters. These families move on to Chicago and are there in 1860.
