Loretta, I don't have the exact address, but it's Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, NY (actually it's Tarrytown, down by the railroad tracks), 914-769-3672. I know it sounds maudlin, but it's a lovely cemetery, set on a hillside, with an hourglass pond, a bridge, and lots of ducks. I have many folks buried there. The staff is very helpful. If memory serves, I believe they might do a "lookup" over the phone. Make sure to ask for everybody buried in the plot--this is how I discovered my paternal gr

As is, the cemetery name doesn't look familiar; could it be Moravian Cemetery? That one is at 2205 Richmond Road, Staten Island, NY 10306 (Staten Island was formerly known as Richmond County.) Burial records from the mid 1940's I've gotten from them have the following info: Name, Date of Death, Place of Death, Age, Cause of Death, Date of Interment, Funeral Director, Location of gravesite.
