Hello,
Seeking any information about Daniel DWY, born late 1700s in or near Kent,
Litchfield Co., CT and moved to Pawling, Dutchess Co, NY sometime after
1834.
Daniel reportedly had nine children. Eight children moved to Ohio with his
Daniel's wife. The ninth apparently remained in Kent, CT with his mother.
I am building a DWY family website at Rootsweb so would be pleased to
correspond with anyone researching this surname.
Thank you,
Diane

This is the Old Graveyards of Dutchess county by Poucher and Reynolds, I
have copies of some of these readings, but do not have the index. If you
care to give me the names of the villages or the graveyardswhere your
people are buried I will attempt to find them. I do have access to a
library copy of the original book which contains the index, and can do
limited look-ups there but it would take a few days before I can go. Let me
know what you want before Saturday if possible.

I am descended from a Verveelen/Van Valin line that lived in Dutchess Co. between about 1735-1835. These are the descendents of Gideon Verveelen (b. New Utrecht, 1680) and his wife Susannah DeGraaf. I have some information to share, and am seeking more. The information I have is posted on World Connect (http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=frotis ). However, I am seeking those who have links to my families.

Sorry I don't have anymore to go on, but do you have or remember having
any information regarding this family? I especially want to know where
Ebenezer Merritt came from, and who his father/mother were.
Tonight I have added Fairview Cemetery at the Dutchess ALHN site, courtesy
of Mr. Charles Heady, who has patiently waited for this to get online.
Thanks so much Charles! You did a great job on this!
