7. Re: [NYERIE-L] Alien Declarations [0.980701]
Hi, One evening at my FHC Library I was browsing through the alien declarations and came up with my Great Great Grandfather's declaration to renounce the Ruler of Germany and his intention to become a U.S. Citizen. My Gr.Gr. Grandfather SIGNED the form and I asked the people to copy that page for me. I was very excited as the declaration was made back in 1855, and I have put the copy of his signature in my family history file for posterity. Just wanted to share this with you! Dave

Bob asked: >If Scajaquada no longer flows into "Hoyt" lake, from whence comes the water? Believe it or not, I don't know! There may be some springs in the area, and of course, we always have lots of snow melt >And why the name? Olmsted's original name was "Gala Water", but most of us remember it as "Park Lake".
