I am trying to find out more information about my ggg grandparents. They were John Abbott and Grace Unknown. They moved from New York to Jefferson County, Indiana before 1820 and Grace died there between February 1839 and August 1840. John died there about June 1841. According to his Will found in Jefferson County, IN their children (all born in NY) were Barbara Conklin (wife of John Conklin), Martha Wardsworth, Abigail Hibner (wife of James Hibner), William, Dorcas Heath (wife of Benjamin Heath),

3. Obituary [1]
I am seeking the date of death for Hannah Pool, wife of John Pool and daughter of Abraham and Aseneth Akin. She is buried in the Johnstown Cemetery, but the year on the date of death is missing in the Johnstown Cemetery listing on the Fulton County Web Site. An obituary card for Hannah Pool in the Johnstown Public Library references: "Garland v.2 no 19 Sept 16, 1837 p. 151". I'm hoping this makes sense to someone. Is this a book or something? Thanks to those who responded to my query. Actually, I did not get the copies of the cards myself. I have a 3-page xerox copy of a several cards/page all dealing with the Akin Family. I do not know how I came by it. At the top is written, JPL Obituary Cards. They do NOT look like regular "library card-catalog" cards. No call letters, etc. One suggestion was that I email the library. Anyone know an email address for the Johnstown Public Library? I suspect they don't take email requests, but don't kn
