Yesterday I found out that my ggggrandmother was actually born in Rochester, not immigrated from Ireland as I thought. The document I found places her birth at around 1827. Would anyone know what Catholics did in Rochester before St. Patrick's Cathedral was built in 1833? I'm trying to see if I can find a baptismal record somewhere... TIA Mary
