Henry Mott married emily (shaw?) on July 25 1861 after
his first wife, frances died.
Emily mott died dec 14, 1876 at age 35.
George Mott married ellen Shaw on Nov 7, 1861.
Were the two Mott boys related and were the two shaw
girls related.
Charles mott died sept 19, 1872 at one year, who were
his parents.

Mrs. Barbara Herpfer, a resident of Lynbrook, died
yesterday, Sunday, April 24, 1938. at her home at 114
Rocklyn Avenue, Lynbrook, following a long illness.
Mrs. Herpfer and her family moved from Maspeth to
Lynbrook about six years ago. Most of her life was
spent in Brooklyn, where she had been born, the
daughter of Michael Diefenbach, a Union Civil War
Veteran. Mrs. Herpfer's husband, Anton (Tony) died in
Brooklyn in 1925.
Mrs. Herpfer is survived by five daughters and three
sons. Her daughter,Agnes, p

am researching for the family of james roy brinkley.
James' son said his father was born in the hills of
virginia in 1896, the oldest of 17 children, of which
9 lived to adulthood. James roy brinkley was taken
out of school by his step father, at age 10, to work
in an iron foundry by the age 16, he had left home to
wander around the usa alone.
He is found in he 1930 census in Queens NY as a marine
engineer and lists himself as a WW I vet. He says his
parents were born in North Carolina.

the dates for the henry and george mott marriages to
the shaw girls are wrong. the dates I typed were the
dates the marriage was printed in the Queens county
