Dear Walter:
I thank you for the Nassau County 101 class. It's helpful to know what I have to
deal with along the way. I was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. The City of
Philadelphia completely covers the Philadelphia County. That makes things much
easier to figure out, as even though there are LOTS of different neighborhoods
(with different names), the address for everyone there is Phila., PA. Nassau
County is not that easy, is it!
Just before getting to your post, I read a post from another "Na
When did each of these churches begin in the town of
Hempstead, and what was the major difference in the two?
Would a person of Huguenot descent be more likely to attend
one than the other, ca.early to mid 1700's? What church
denominations were in the area of Jamaica in the later
1600's to early 1700's? THANKS!
_Judy

Hi All:
I'm very new to this list, but I'm not new to genealogical research.
I've been at it since 1976 (on and off). I'm also a "shut in" due to
medical problems. I wouldn't be writing to this list if I had been
able to find the information I require in any other way. I've tried
several other more familiar venues over the past few months.
I found the SSDI listing for a cousin, but all the information it
contains is this:
CURSON, Alfred
SSN 057-12-2657
Born: May 5, 1922
Died: Janua
I've been trying to compile a list of Town of Babylon Cemeteries.
I have the following so far, and being Farmingdale/Pinlawn is the borderline
of Nassau and Suffolk I thought it might be useful.

"I know nothing more about this man's death than what the SSDI listing holds

You need to know two things: (1) the community (is it a city, village or

or does the town keep the record for this village?

That's good news.
