I've "rescued" an old photograph of Emily WHEELER which was taken at the
DeGroat Studio in Bath, New York. The photograph appears to have been taken
in the 1880's or 1890's with Emily likely in her teens or early 20's at the
time it was taken. Based on limited research I believe that this may be a
photograph of Emily WHEELER b. 29 Aug 1872 in Urbana, NY to parents Jonas
WHEELER and Mary Ann WOOD.
In 1870 the family was living in Wayne, NY with census records providing the
following information:

Jasper Steuben New York her son David Wass 1816-1896 was wondering if theres a
death certificate for David and does it tell Annas Maiden Name thanks Steve

at the Steuben County Clerk's Office in Bath. It is also available on
Family History Center micorofilm 1451195, 1451196, 1451446, 1451447, and
1451448 in alphabetical sequence by person's name. You can find
reference to the index in the on-line Family History Library Catalog.
