Huntington is more than just a town. It is a section of Suffolk County and includes both towns and hamlets. This includes Huntington, Northport, East Northport, Greenlawn, Centerport, Cold Spring Harbor, Dix Hills, Lloyds Neck Asharoken, Eatons Neck Fort Salonga, and Commack Have you seen Huntington? He also notes that the Jackson family is related to the Homan family. Do you have any connections that might help me. Hi Sharon, Thank you for joining because it gives me a chance to ask....how far west in PA? My grandparents came from Belgium in 1902; in 1910 were in Huntingdon County, PA. My job and challenge is to find out the in-betweens. Any suggestions as to resources would be deeply appreciated. I have the 1910 census information; they are not on the 1920 census. Huntington is a town. There is also the Hamlet of Huntington (often incorrectly referred to as Huntington Village) in the Town of Huntington. Ezekiel Scudder, born 1765 in Huntington, Suffolk, NY married Cynthia Gould. We have her birth year as 1773, but no one in the family has ever been able to unearth another thing about her.
