Hello Tom. THANK YOU for notifying of this wonderful service. It is very useful and easy to use. Found two of my Auckland family in there; and love the way that you have it indexed not only by the child's name, but also by the surname and forenames of each parent. Outstanding. Thank you again. 16. [NZ-AUCKLAND] Early Auckland births in GEDCOM format [1]
This is just to let everybody know that the early Auckland births on http://ouraucklandstuff.freeservers.com/KendallPrefix.HTM have been processed into GEDCOM files, readable by any genealogy software, and uploaded onto http://gedcomlibrary.com/vitals.html This will facilitate the compilation of comprehensive indices, because GEDCOM is a standard format. I have also incorporated the contents into http://sortedbyname.com which may help people learn that a person went to Auckland. Tom Alciere Hudso

19. Re: [NZ-AUCKLAND] Early Auckland births in GEDCOM format [1]
Let me mention that this was possible because the data were in tidy, orderly format, allowing me easily to write a program to capture each datum into the right field. When data are in paragraph form, it is more labour-intensive and I skip those transcriptions.
