Hi Everyone! Does anyone know what the occupation of 'tandermist' was? I've done a Google serach and it doesn't recognise the word, so I'm pretty sure it's a spelling mistake, but the only similar sounding occupation I can think of is taxidermist - the fellow in question gave his occupation on the 1901 census as tandermist, painter and decorator - if it is taxidermist, it seems a funny combination! Can anyone shed any light on this? Many thanks! Liz
