Looking for other ODonnells primarily from Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, and
Belfast Northern Ireland. My great grandmothers maiden name is ODonnell.
Below is some brief information I have so far. I also have a web page with
my Odonnell family tree (http://members.aol.com/DDineen142/ODonnell.htm)
which has more detail on each person listed. I would love to hear from
Odonnells who might be related. Any information on the people listed below
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Wonderful news, wish I could join you both but my trip to Eire is at
least a year off.
This makes me think, would there be any interest in having an O'Donnell
Clan Fest in the States for all of those who could not go to ireland?

Hello fellow researchers!
Thanks to all who have sent their words of comfort and support over my
discovery that I have spent the last year collecting data on the WRONG Mary
O`Donnell family!
I only hope that all of this research finally finds its way into the hands of
someone who needs it. I have documents pertaining to schooling, baptismals,
marriages, births, deaths, census, land holdings and even a recently taken
snapshot of the O`Donnell family home located in Greenfield.(My sister and

I am looking for any information on any of the following.

Also on board (and apparently traveling with the ODonnells) were Ellen

Greetings. as part of the DUFFY tree of Woburn, I am casually researching the
descendants of Edward O'DONNELL. I am not sure where in Ireland they came
from: could be Co. Donegal, IRL. This, in Woburn, is a huge family; thanks in
large part to John O'Donnell and Hannah Flaherty, and their intermarriage
with the huge family DUFFY. If any of this sounds familiar, I would love to
hear from you. Thanks, Jim Conway

Well, the clan festival is being held in August in Donegal, home of the
O'Donnell Clan. You certainly couldn't go wrong by visiting Donegal and
the castle whether it was during the festival or not.
While the o'Donnell name has rich background in Donegal, the clan spread
to many other areas as well. My own group apparently were in Co. Mayo

saying guess what I found on the net; and that was Dicks page.
I wanted to thank all that sent info to me and I thought it was a good time
to add my roll call

and Kate moved to Detroit. I can't seem to find any information in
Binghamton or Harrisburg. Does anybody have information regarding this

Haven't posted to this list for a long time, so here goes.
My GGGrandmother was Bridget (or Mary) O'Donnell b. 5 July 1816 in PA or MD,

July 1833. She died in Frankstown in childbirth on 3 January 1852 and is
buried in Old St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Hollidaysburg. The 1830 Census

received. I will try to send this anyway.
I have done about a years worth of research into who I believed to by
ancestors of my greatgrandmother, Mary O`Donnell Kavanagh. Three weeks ago, I
found out that the family I have researched all these many months was NOT the
right one! I have a lot of info about this other family and would like to
pass it
