Had absolutely no luck finding any Melissa COL* in any state born Ohio. I did find the entry in 1870 in Michigan and noticed a Thomas & Sophronia COLLAR as a next family. There was a SILAS FANNON or FANNIN who lived in Ohio. According to censuses, he was born about 1847 in Ohio to a father who was born in Virginia and mother born in Tennessee. In LDS records online, I found his middle name "Rufin," which may have actually been "Rufus." It said he died in 1935 and his wife had been Wilmet Anne Ellerson.
