Hello, Can anyone tell me where to find the record of names of the persons that CW soldiers substituted for? My ancestor Daniel Good of Co. F, 101st OVI was disability discharged then later substituted into Co. B of the 47th OVI for some person unknown. Family letters from that time state that when pensions were going to be paid this gentleman came back to my GGGrandfather and said he should get the pension and he got punched in the nose and never bothered them again.
