Thanks for the response. No...I don't know when they died. All I know of
them are their ages from the 1834 ship records. Watkin Davies was 43 (b abt
1791) and Sarah Davies was 40 (b. abt 1794). They returned to Cleveland in 1847,
so were in their mid 50s at that time.

Those are really close: They did have a son, Watkin - b 16 Aug 1824 Wales
and a daughter, Sarah - b 1826 Wales, not
US
The Watkin you found would have been born 1826, and Sarah 1829.

Hello!
I have recently obtained information that my 4th GGrandparents arrived in
Cleveland from Wales in 1834, moved to WI in 1846, and back to Cleveland in 1847.
There is every likelihood that they lived out their lives in Cleveland -
probably in a Welsh community. As is usually the case, their Welsh names are
extremely common:
Watkin and Sarah DAVIES (often found as Davis)
also with them, their son - Thomas DAVIES b. 27 May 1820
Any help in locating their burial sites will b

I have Watkins Davis buried in Woodland Cemetery. Died in 1863, age 37
native of Wales. There is a Sarah Jane Spencer buried with him died
1863 age 34 native of USA. Could this be their children?
