10. Re: [Allen Cty List] Morris Chapel Cemetery [1]
Dave, I was with Anthony (hi Anthony) the day he looked for the cemetery. We drove up and down Defiance Trail Road and was never able to locate this cemetery. I have just been told that Ludwig Road is now State Road. We crossed State Road and found no cemetery. Also, we did not see a road named Morris Chapel. Hopefully someone in Marion Township will be able to help us. Kathleen >Delivered-To: kkruhlen@wcoil.com >Resent-Date: Tue, 14 Aug 2001 15:15:59 -0600 >X-Original-Sender: dwkoester@ameritech.ne

Anthony -- I suppose that something could have changed. Unfortunately, I'm dealing with data that that might be old, altho I thought (or was told) it was accurate. You could try Mark Gierhart's cemetery page site: http://allencounty.tripod.com/cemetery.html He lives in Allen County and might be able to provide you with more info. Hello, I live in Lima. Last fall I went to Adair County, Ky. to look for a church cemetery out in the country where some of my ancestors were buried. I found the church, but it was not being used for a church any more I don't think. I looked behind the church, and beside it and found no cemetery. I did find some stones that could have been old headstones. It was very grown up and not taken care of if it was a cemetery. Ok everybody interested and to the guy in Illiois. That gravesite is out there. I drove by it once. Never did see a Ludwig Rd. The site is south of what is now called the Faith Tabernacle church and south of the Thompson Seed Farm which is next to the Church. South of the seed farm is a brick house. The gravesite is behind the house by 50-100 yards and is marked by a falg pole. Only one large stone is there with a bunch of names on the stones. Evidently the stones were all so bad or something that t
