married Catharine Merle, were Phillip Metzger and Philipena "Phoebe" Schuetz

My father was Paul V. Carrino. He had several brothers. Lawrence, Phillip, Frank and a sister, Angeline was married to Joe Nesta; the two of them owned a small grocery on Vine St. in Lima, OH. As a small child I remember Joe cooking lots of spaghetti and Angeline working her fingers to the bone to keep everything clean.

I have lots of info on the Hammons, but almost as many questions as answers! There is a Hammons/Redmon cemtery near Ottoville that is abandoned. Thank you I got a reply also from the Lima Public Library. Here is what they sent from the Lima News Jan. 14, 1936. Earlier in the night L. A. Baker, 52, of 1015 St, Johns ave died following injuries suffered Sunday when struck by the auto of Frank Shaffer, 710 Catalpa ave who was exonerated of blame.
