1. [OHALLEN-L] Kindle's [1]
I am trying to find information on a James Shirden(or Sheridan) Kindle. He was married to a Elizabeth Jane Miller, but she died after being married almost 5 years. I believe James was born around 1870, but not sure when he died. He lived in Ada, but I think he moved on after his wife died. He had a brother named Sherman Leroy Kindle, who married a Cora Spears. Any information on either Kindle would be greatly appreciated. Desperatly trying to get information on James, who also went by Shirden o

3. [OHALLEN-L] Cemetery Information [1]
I've had several people asking cemetery information and would like to invite you to my Allen County Web Site. Once on the main site you can then go to my Cemetery Section where I am in the process of posting all of the Allen County Cemeteries. I have just recently added a Search Engine to the site, which will help you in the search. Finally, if you are not from this area, I also have a Photo Service, where I will take digital pictures of your ancestor's grave site. http://allencounty.tripod.com

Kathy, 2 miles West of Bluffton, on Phillips Road, South of Bixel Road and the Reformed Mennonite Church. It is called the Old Mennonite or Old Swiss Cemetery... I have the cemetery book for this cemetery, what names are you interested in? 5. [OHALLEN-L] photographer in Lima, Ohio [1]
I'm trying to date two photos. The photographer appears to be a D. Nock of Lima, Ohio. Notes on the photos say that the subjects are 'Grandma' and 'Grandpa' Bates. They appear to be about 55 years old. My best guess on the proper generation for these photos would therefore have the photos being taken around 1888. Does anyone on this list have access to a Lima business directory between 1880 and 1890 ? I'd like to know if a photographer with name resembling D. Nock appears in the directory. Do Lima d

8. [OHALLEN-L] RE: Swiss Cemetery [1]
Was wondering if anyone knows where the Swiss Cemetery is over near Bluffton? I have some relatives buried there and hope to get pictures of their tombstones. Could you write out directions on how to get there, and the name of the cemetery. Thank you!
