1. [OHASHLAN-L] Thank you [1]
Thank you to all the people who volunteered for the World War 2 transcription project. I have gotten enough volunteers now for this project. Thank you for your interest. I am certain other projects will come along. I will post the war information as it is sent to me. Sheila Ashland County Ohio Genealogy Society http://www.rootsweb.com/~ohacogs/
2. [OHASHLAN-L] 1840 and 1850 Census [1]
If anyone currently has access to either of these two census' and would be willing to do a lookup for me, pls let me know. I would be very appreciative, as it will be awhile before our LDS completes renovation and I can look them up myself. Thanks so much. Marcia McEntire Lund
3. [OHASHLAN-L] John ERNST, mid-1800's [1]
Hello, I'm researching my g-g-grandfather John ERNST in Ashland Co. He was b. 19 Jul 1821 in Cumberland Co., PA and married 15 June 1848 in Ashland Co., OH. Wife's name was Mary (Ellen?) ZIEGLER b. Feb 1830 in PA. John's parents, John ERNST and Elizabeth WISE are, I believe, buried in Ashland Co. They too are from PA. I'm wondering if anyone has any other details on this family and where John and Elizabeth (Wise) Ernst are buried. Thanks, Jen
