I have found the first names and marriage dates for Fanny Davis and Mary
Davis's spouses-daughters of Isaac Davis and Frances Stoner. Also found the
burial place of Amos/Ames Hillborn and Mary George Hillborn in the Ashland
Cemetery-the early cemetery. Fanny Davis was married to Jacob Hetler and
Mary Davis was married to Dillman Switzer. I also found both families in
the 1880 census but can not find out much more about the names in their
families except that one of the sons of Dillman Switzer and

Click on the website above and you can scroll down to their online exhibit of the 1874 Atlas of Ashland County (Its not really searchable but if you know the township and are patient while looking around in the Atlas you can find your Ashland ancestors like I did) Malcolm, William and Malcolm, James C. of Nova Township. They also have a digitized Civil War diary for George B. Nicholson, Company K, Ohio and an Inventory of his papers as well.

I am looking for the family of Isaac Davis who was born 1802-Lancaster Co.,
Pa. He married Frances Stoner and they died in Ashland Co., Ohio. I would
like to find Frances's obituary as we have found Isaac Davis's will and
obituary. Also would like to find the other members of the family. I am
descended from Isaac Davis, their son who married Sarah Hilborn and moved to
California. Isaac, Sr. died December 19, 1879-Mifflin Twp., Ashland Co.,

Good morning. I'm hoping some kind soul might be able to help me out. Any

I'm seeking an obituary on Ransom PERSONS, b. 25 May 1840 Huntington,
Lorain, Ohio and died s September 1863 in Sullivan, Ashland, Ohio. Married
to Mary E. JOHNSON. Any additional information on this family always
welcome !
