either in my Rand McNally Atlas. My family records gave Ames, Athens Co.,
as an address, but all I see under cemeteries etc. on your website is

My great grandmother Emma Mae GARNER was born in Nelsonville in 1893.
She had one sister Charlean GARNER born about 1897. Her parents
were Rosa Ann TUCKER 1872-1919 who was born and died in Nelsonville,
and Charles GARNER born abt 1871 and died before 5/5/1903. Charles
and Rosa were married in Nelsonville in 1892. After Charles died
Rosa married William F. POWELL on 5/5/1903 in
Hi fellow researchers, I am researching info on Peter Vannest b. 1808-1810
in New Jersey and marrying Rhoda Ketcham in Pennsylvania, and later moving
to Athens County Ohio. He lived in Prattsfork. After Rhoda died he
married Mary (either Boring or Secoy). He died in 1876 (his tombstone says
1867 but his will says 1876) and is buried in Burlingham Cemetery in Meigs
County. I was told he was very involved in the church aduring his life.
