I have records of proceedings filed in Belmont County, as announced in the "Belmont Chronicle" (see below) but no records of the actual proceedings or findings of the court. Does anyone know if such further information is avaialable? This is a very curious affair, a filing for partition of property in 1873, long after the original owners were dead, and with their sons (uncles of the partition suit filer) living on that property. I can find no events (e.g. deaths, etc.) which might have prompted this origina

Levi Hollingsworth In 1793 moved to Goose Creek Louden Co. Va. and in 1804 to Flushing, Ohio. Levi ran a general store. Both buried in Friends Cemetery, Flushing. According to Quaker records, Eli and Elizabeth, with their three children, Jonathan, Mary Ann, and Isaac moved from Flushing, Ohio to Wayne County, Indiana in 1836.
