Anybody out there have any information on a Levi Greenfield who is in the
1840 and 1850 Belmont Census? His wife might be a Jane Miller.

The Cumberland Trail Genealogical Society is currently working on a new book
that will list every cemetery in Belmont County and the directions to them.
We have had articles in our local newspapers requesting anyone knowing of
the location of cemeteries having at least one person and those that they
may know of that are not already listed or may be in out of the way places.
We are making a page each on that will give information about the cemtery,
exact directions to the cemetery. It will not list everyone
Hi Listers,

with 2 Ts on the end in Maryland, but many who left Mar

whether this is a current address). I think I heard it isn't
available right now although they are planning to reprint it again.
Maybe if you show interest it will help. The second Printing which is
shown in my book was in 1989 by Closson Press, 1935 Sampson Drive,

believe)

My great-great grandfather John F. Gallagher became a naturalized citizen 22
October 1860 at a Probate Court held at the Probate Office in St.
Clairesville, Belmont county OH. I've written to the Probate Court asking
for his Declaration of Intent, their response is that they don't have these

Does anyone know anything of a Sarah HIRST? She is buried at Union
Cemetery in St. Clairsville, according to published cemetery records, and is
"with" Ruth NEWLIN. Ruth's dates are listed as 1818-1900, but none are
given for Sarah. I believe Sarah may be the daughter of my great great
grandmother Ruth Frame NEWLIN and husband Elisha Phipps NEWLIN, originally
of Chester County, Pa. Elisha's mother was a Sarah.
Also, would anyone who has any Belmont County cemetery records look up
Elisha Phipps
Could someone help me find the cemetery and graves where my
ggg-grandparents William and Mary (or Malinda) SHUTTS are buried?? They
were on the 1850 Census in Belmont County, Richland TWP, OH.
I would deeply appreciate any help you can give me.
Sincerely,
Marge in Nebraska
Hey! I have PRICE's also!!
Of course I'm away from my records but I have
Milton Price of Belmont Co. OH. His wife was
Harriett Bowen. Their daughter Ellen Eunice Price,
b. 28 AUG 1850, married George Washington Jorden.
George & Eunice moved to KS after the Civil War &
are buried there. They were my g-grandparents.
Milton & Harriett Price would be contemporaries of
my Habbord Jorden. Habbord Jorden was the
father of George W. Jorden.
Any connections?

Does anyone know any descendants of her children, Abraham Willimas

or Mrs. William Reese of Martins Ferry were Amanda's children. Or
even of the Neavin family
I'm trying to find out anything about Louisa's first husband John
