Hi,
I am new to the list and was wondering if anyone has any information on
my gggrandfather:
LORENZO D. SMITH (unknown)
POLLY WAITS (from Brown County)
Parents of:
JOHN SMITH (born 1860 Wabash IN)
I found their names from Johns death certificate. I also found where a
marriage license was issued to them in Brown County in 1856. I assume
they were married, it just says a license was issued.
I can't find Lorenzo and Polly anywhere. I have found lots of Lorenzos
but none with a wife named Polly

I am searching for the parents of my g grandfather, George LAPOE of
Monongalia County, WV. Family legends say that he was born in France

Hello Brown County,
This list seems kind of quiet to me. Is there no one searching their
families from Brown County? Well, this is my first post for the surname of
LANE.
Looking for information on ARMAIDA LANE from Manchester. She was born 20
Sept 1877. I would like to find parents. She married CHARLES RICHMOND who
was born in Maysville, Kentucky on 4 Jan 1867.
Armaida is my great great grandmother. Any help on the LANE family from
Manchester and surrounding areas would be more than appreciated.

I sent a letter to the Ebeneezer ME Church. It is located on
Ebeneezer Road, in the Eagle Creek area. I thought it was located in
Ripley, OH. The letter came back stamped with , NO SUCH STREET. I
wrote down the address standing in front of the church. It was on
the mailbox. Maybe it is not located in Ripley or maybe Ebeneezer
Road is a Rural route number. I hope someone in the area can help me
and give me the correct address to the church.
Thank you very much.

Hi everyone,
I will be in Georgetown on Friday, hoping to do some research. I noticed
that the Brown Co. Genealogical Soc. is not open on Friday. Is there any
particular place to go that I can find some records (birth, death, marriage,
naturalization etc..) besides the courthouse, or is that it?
Thanks for any and all help!
