I belong, in addition to the Brown Co Genealogical Society,
the Hamilton Co Society. In this month's issue of The Tracer
was a mention of the Underground Railroad. I always thought
that African-American slaves escaped to freedom through the
Underground Railroad, but it seems that there might have
been a few indentured servants who came up this way, too.
Since my Catherine Boerst/Borst was supposed to have been,

Just yesterday I received my Brown County Genealogical
newsletter. On page 12 -- June 21 & July 10 it mentions a
Work Day Meeting and I have a question about this.

On the Mason Co-Bracken Co Ky line is Germantown. A mile east of

Is there anyone on this list who is reseaching James KENNEDY who married
Elizabeth BAILELET. I can not find a BAILELET anywhere in Adams, Brown or
Clermont counties. I have a copy of a letter which states that James and
Elizabeth both d in Brown Co OH. James had a brother William b 1763-69 and
another brother Henry, b abt 1765 who mar. Isabel SILL. I do not know the
birth dates nor the death dates of James and Elizabeth Bailelet KENNEDY.
James is a son of Hugh and Catherine Hughes KENNEDY. H
The true 1910 census for Brown Co. is now up on ancestry.com (not the Miracode, which tries to translate what is written, and if they can't read it, it's left out) and I have found my ggreat-grandparents, Finley and Frankie Bell and their daughter Fay. They are on page 12 of the Pike Twp. section.
