Hi,
I'm researching my Stull ancestors. I only know of my 3rd great grandma
Sarah Stull Tucker who married Joel Tucker Oct 1821 in Butler CO OH.
Apparently, Joel was from Lemon Tp. and I feel it quite likely Sarah lived
there also. They were both born in Aug. 1800.

Dear Norma:
Thank you for checking. Ephraim and Mary, (widow of Moses Tucker, maiden
name Masters) are definitely my Tuckers and I would love to claim Peter
Stull. But I don't know enough about him. Again, thank you!

Larry,
As far as I am concerned, you are providing a valuable service to all
and, like you say, it is easy to just zap off what does not pertain to
you. I, for one, hope you will continue to provide us with this
genealogical data.
I belong to several county lists and BUTLER-L is by far the most active
and informative. Please don't quit.

In response to Norma's comment regarding "How will anyone
ever find any connections to a surname, if nobody else ever
posts their names to the entire list?" I'm posting the following:

Lowell,
I have been trying to have all book transactions take place by way of
personal email. Nancy had asked me (in a nice polite manner) to do this as
well. The transaction with Ardie and myself was in the process when I
posted that further transactions would be done in private. I did not have
Ardie's email address, as she contacted me by a posting only. I am unclear
what gives you the right to be RUDE towards me when you do not personally
know me or what the conditions of this transaction where ? Yo

Thanks for the advice on the on line death certs. Unfortunately, I had
already tried that tack. I don't know if the Claude E. Freeman listed
there is mine or not. I would think that he probably died around Hamilton,
as he was President of an ironworks factory there. What I was hoping was
that someone might have access to cemetery records in Hamilton that is on
the e mail service. I know I can write or email the archives, but thought
I would take a chance someone knew something...

Larry,
I'm sorry, I didn't hit my "cancel" button fast enough to stop my previous
message from being sent. The ENYEARTs have variant spellings as follows:
ENJART, ENJOERT, INIAART, JNIAERT, INYARD, INYART, INGART, INGARD, ENYEART,
ENYART, ENYERT, ENYARD, ENGARD, ENJARD
In Ohio, I believe the most frequently used spelling would be ENYEART and
ENYART.
I certainly do not expect you to lookup each and every spelling, but if you
just happen to see them I'd appreciate you advising. Thanks so much, Larry. I
It is a USGenWeb policy that individual county pages provide a LIST
of people willing to do look-ups, based on the information they have
available. The Butler County look up volunteers are listed at:

There are at least 6 volunteers on that page. (If Barbara is "out there",
we still need your new email address.) Having an e-mail discussion
group is one more method of answering Butler County genealogy and
history queries. Having a history book fr

Hi. Saw your query on Stull family. My 3-great grandfather, Thomas
Baldwin married a Susan Stull in Butler Co., OHio in 1810. Susan is not my
ancestor as Thomas married again later in life to my ancestress, but I
would like to find out about Susan Stull's family as it could possibly give
me further insight to Thomas. I do not know her parents names and can only
give you the names of her children. If you receive any private answers to
your query I would very much like to know about any informati

Hi Everyone:
I have never involved myself in these types of discussions but feel I
must say something. I enjoy the requests, sometimes I see things that
peak my interest or give me a different path to persue. The request for
the name Lehmkuhl got me to thinking. I am looking for a name similiar
to this but could never quite make out the writing on the marriage
license. By seeing this, I have something new to persue.
Why can't everyone lighten up, if you don't want to read it - delete it
and let the
