Maybe someone out there can help me identify my Murphy's. Here is my

living with John Doty and his family. It's listed as follows:

Could any listmembers suggest a cemetery or cemeteries where an active
Methodist who died in Hamilton in the mid-1850's is likely to have been
buried?
I'm looking for the burial site of my gg grandfather Elijah HALFORD. I
believe that
his youngest son George HALFORD, who died in Indianapolis in 1869, may
also be
buried with him.
Thanks,

Please post this address to the list, I'm sure others would like it also.
Thanks,

Hi Listers,
Ancestry.com is citing an 1806 enumeration for OH Butler... I'd been
told (quiet recently) the earliest was for 1807, yet on Ancestry the
names are a bit different in some cases.
Can anyone tell me if there is actually a census now available for the
residence of 1806?
If so, can I access it? I'm not an Ancestry.com member.
Thanks,
Naomi Emmich

Butler County Researchers:
I would like to inform everyone of an upcoming project which should prove
valuable to Butler County historical and genealogical researchers. The
project is a web site which will be a virtual history of the county,
containing both text and photographs.
The project has been named "Creating a Virtual Community: The Heritage of
Butler County" and is being sponsored by the Butler County Historical
Society. The project is being funded by both the Society and through a

These deaths were on the same page as a death I was interested in the Butler
Probate Records. Thought someone might find something they were looking for.
In addition to the information below there is a column on the records for
father and mother, color, place of residence and reporter.
There are no entries for father or mother. All listed names are marked as
white. The place of residence is the same as the place of death
on each entry. The reporter is cut-off, but each entry for a township is the
same.

Does anyone have access to the 1860 Butler County/Hamilton City census that
would be different from the reel I rented from FHC?
I had good news/bad new experience with 1860, ward 3. I found my Frank and
Amelia because I knew their first names and where they should be--not because
the Sch---- name bore any resemblance to Schaettle! But, they were on the
last two lines of a page, and when I scrolled down to see who was with them,
there were a number of missing pages and households.
