I would try the libraries for Butler County, their home page is here. http://www.lanepl.org You can search their catalog online. I did a search on Seven Mile and came up with 30 or so hits. Why would a child living in the city of Hamilton go to 7 mile school? That would be out in the county. Hamilton High would have been his district. Were things that different in the 30's? Or did he live somewhere else, (foster child?) when he graduated? Have you tried a Hamilton High Book? You might find him as an underclassman. By the way there is a place called Gano. David, Bear in mind that in the early Ohio/Indiana days part of present day Indiana was in Ohio. This included part of Union and Franklin and others. Maybe the land records are in Indiana.
