FYI...
The Middletown Historical Society is today, Sat. July 15, 2000, unveiling
it's new headquarters at the Pickwick Building, 56 S. Main St., Middletown,
Ohio.
The society will hold an open house to present it's new home to the
community at 1pm.
There will be a ribbon-cutting and the building will be open to the public
until 5pm.
The open house is in conjunction with a celebration of the 100th
anniversary of the laying of the cornerston for the American Rolling Mill Co.

Cumminsville is a neighborhood in Cincinnati. The person who said
the branch between I-75 and I-74 is correct - it is right beside
Northside (which is really mid-city). It is in the central city.

I'm not sure who he plays for now,but Chris Carter graduated from Middletown
High School in 1984,the same class as my wife.He played football for the
Middies and did play with the Philadelphia Eagles.Wasn't there a basketball
player by the name of Jerry Lucas from Middletown?I think he had a burger
joint up on North Verity Parkway.

My gggg-grandmother Susannah Lakeman is buried in
Spring Grove Cemetery in Cincinnati. She was born on
Dec. 19, 1780 in Ipswich, Mass. Her cemetery record
indicates that one parent's last name was Fowler. I
