I'm not interested in the Miami U books, but know someone who buys West
Carrollton OH year books from the 1940-50s or before. Some are called Piratan's
and the older ones are called Wecaton's. Deb if no one wants your friend's, you
might want to post it to the Gen-Books eList at Yahoo. They post books for
sale and wanted books there.

Hi,
The
Blue Ball Church is also mentioned on-line at
http://www.ghosttowns.com/states/oh/blueball.htm
as located in what now is nearly a ghost town (Blue Ball, not Middletown
which annexed it!)

Can anyone tell me how I could get a death certificate for someone who died in Butler County in 1959? It doesn't have to be an official one; it could be unofficial.
Thanks,

Dear researchers,
The following info is from
various census listings and info from the book,
"The Life and Times of Giles Richards" by Ophia D. Smith.
I do not know the connection of the ALLCUTT and CARPENTER surnames.
The "CHILES" should be the surname "RICHARDS".
Children of Giles and E (Eleanor) H (Hankinson) RICHARDS:
Amos Lawrence thru Thomas Lloyd are the children of
Giles and Eleanor Richards.
Then, the GILBERT surnames:
Warren and Adolph W. were sons of Alfred W. and Elizabeth (nee: RICHARD

Does anyone on the list have a MARSH family in Butler county. Mine would have been there early, before 1840.
George Marsh with a wife (I think it was Catherine) & two children.
Any Marsh people will be of interest to me. Thanks
Hi,
Ebenezer MANCHE, son of Daniel and Mary RUCH Manche, is a cousin of mine. Mary MANCHE's sister was LOUISA RUCH MCGLAUGHLIN. Her mother was CATHERINE RUCH. All are buried at the Amanda Cemetery. Ebenezer is buried near his grandmother CATHARINE RUCH. Also buried near Ebenezer is his cousin ELLSWORTH MCGLAUGHLIN who died as an infant. His stone is embedded in the ground right next to EBENEZER'S. Ebenezer's stone is broken off where his name should be. The date when he died during the Civil War i
Their marriage is not in the Butler County Marriage Book #3 -- 1847-1862.
