1. RE: [OHBUTLER-L] family relationships [1]
I used Google.com Advanced Search. Under "exact phrase" type in "cousin twice removed". You can find just about anything using that source. Below are a few samples from thousands that it listed. http://members.aol.com/anolelady/cuztable.htm http://www.genealogy.com/genealogy/16_cousn.html?Welcome=1038079685 http://www.kiva.net/~markh/cousin.html http://pulido2000.com/familytrees/relation-chart.html Karen -----Original Message----- From: Kathleen Dewey [mailto:kdewey@sbceo.org] Sent: November 2

Hi Tom On the map I have of the cemeteries, Venice Cemetery and Butterfield Cemetery are very close together, Venice being north of the little town and Butterfield showing south of the town. That may be why it shows (2). Maybe someone else knows if that's it. Norma At 07:37 PM 11/20/2002 -0500, you wrote: >Does anyone know if there is two Venice Cemeteries in Ross Township. From the 1882 "History of Butler County" (reproduced in 1971 by the Butler Co. Historical Society): Venice Cemetery had its beginning in 1817, when Dr. Clark gave one acre of land immediately north of the Odd Fellows' hall, but which was soon exchanged, by a proposition from the members of the Bethel Presbyterian Church, for one acre on the south side of the present cemetery. This exchange was made because the original site was thought less favorable for burial purposes. The intention was that deeds sho

16. [OHBUTLER-L] marriage lookup [1]
I would appreciate a quick lookup in the marriage records, if someone happens to be in them. JOHN BARANOWSKI and MAGDALENA GLUBA They arrived from Poland around 1879-80 and were married before the birth of their first child in May, 1884. This child said he was born in Peoria, Ohio, I'm assuming they were married in the area. Thanks so much for the help, Kathy

19. Re: [OHBUTLER-L] Shafer [1]
It will only show Michael Shafer in the 1840 census but the 1850 census will give members of the family that are with him. If I get a minute after my company goes I can check 1850. 23. [OHBUTLER-L] Green Onion Church [1]
Hello, Does anyone know anything about the Green Onion Church? It is suppose to be in or around Hamilton. It would have been about 1930 to 1935. The paster was Rev Ray G Hays. My aunt remembers a white church building and a picture was taken with all the members in front of the church building but we don't know what happened to the picture or where the church was located. I would appreciate any help. Thanks Virginia Anders Honeycutt

25. [OHBUTLER-L] surname Schwab [1]
My g.g.grandfather was Jakob Schwab who married Agnes Kellermann. Jakob's brother Ludwig Schwab (married to Katharina Hahn) had a son named Jacob. Jakob and Ludwig were born in Albersweiler/Pfalz to Leonhard Schwab and Barbara Duerr. They came in the 1840s first to Cincinnati and then later settled in Hamilton, Ohio. Let me know if you think your Schwab relatives tie into these two. I have been to Albersweiler and have extensive information. Mark Hayward Chicago, Illinois --- Njldel@wmconnect.com wrote:
