If anyone has access to the 1850 Butler County census, would you be willing
to look up AYRESMAN on pp. 253B, 255B, and 462B?
I am looking for Jacob and John EHRESMAN and their wives: Katherine and
Jacobena Ehresman, and children. I am interested particularly in the
occupation given for Jacob. He was a weaver in Germany, but a farmer

worked there, or worked on weaving at home.
Jacob Ehresman was b. 1806 in Hesse Darmstadt, Germany
I'm interested in identifying the offpspring of Conrad Speidel (1827-1905),

In the 1880 Cenus, they were living in Hamilton Twp, with sons:
Albert - 25 Louis - 20 John - 17
George - 14 Frank -12
Is George the same man who married Mary Elser c. 1899? In the 1900 Census,
a George Speidel and wife were living in Middletown, along with nephew,
George Speidel (b. c1895). Who were th

Hi listers, I am on a fishing trip for ISSAC TICE b. abt. 1826 somewhere in
OH.
Have never found out his parents names or where he was born. 1850 census
for Peoria IL says he and parents all born in OH. All other census he was on
say the same.
Issac Tice lived in Peoria IL for an unknown amount of time, at least I know
it was from 1849 to 1853, then he and his wife, Elizabeth Ross moved to
Oregon, Clatsop Co. where he bought land in 1854 and sold it in 1857.
Then he and his family moved to Harris

Hellos,
Is anyone researching the surname Hughes in this area?
I have a Mary Hughes living in the home of John Elmes, in Ross Township
(1900).
I believe she is the mother of John's wife, Emma.
Mary was born 1833, in Ohio. Emma was born 1862, in Ohio.
The 1900 census says Mary had 6 children, 5 living then.
Thank you,
Tricia
I want to thank everyone who responded to my inquiry asking for

I'm not sure just what name Hamilton's Journal News was going under in 1909
as it has undergone a number of name changes over the years. All you need to
do is write the Lane Public Library, North Third and Buckeye, Hamilton, OH
45011, give them the name and date for the obit and they will attempt to
locate and copy it for you. You will need to give them your complete mailing
address.
