there were 111 taxpayers in the county.
They were mainly grouped in three settlements: the Salt Fork, the Big Grove,

Oops. I thought we were talking about Champaign Co., Ohio. Are there

Sandi Evilsizer Koscak provided me with information on the question of tax records off of the list. I am posting this to the list for those who expressed an interest. This website has all of the information on Champaign County records held by LDS.

Is this website just a catalog of what they have? You can't actually get
the database on it? Do you have to go to the Family Center, or whatever the

Hi,
I saw the information regarding Champaign County, OH records on microfilm. Are any of those records on line? I live in FL and would love to find copies of the documents of my ancestors by doing the research at home on the web. Anyone have suggestions other than going to a Family History Center?

Am researching William BACOME (BECKUM, BEACHEM, etc.) born abt. 1783 KY,
mar. Jan. 1809 in Champaign Co., OH to Nancy STEVENS. William died abt.Oct.
25, 1860/1 in Mad River Township, Champaign Co., OH. Probably buried in
Stevens Cemetery, Westville, Champaign Co. Does anyone know where the

Nancy STEVENS was daughter of Christian STEVENS. She was born abt 1788 in
