New Vienna is located at the southestern end of Clinton County, next to Highland County. I would check Probate in Clinton and Highland counties as it is very possible that it could have been either county at that time. I am looking for my wife's cousins who are descended from Selby Hudson, b. 23 Dec 1780 in Worcester County, MD; d. 23 Jul 1858 in Clinton County, OH. Selby Hudson was married twice; first to Hetta (Peggy?) Davis, 19 Jul 1802 and second to Elizabeth Richardson, 5 Jan 1808. He moved his family to Brown County before 1820 and to Clinton County a few years later. His children were: By first wife Hetta Davis 1. Thomas, b. 11 Feb 1804 2. Catherine, b. 16 Jan 1806 3. Hi, I am looking for information on Daniel STEWART b: around 1828 supposedly listed on the 1870 census for Clinton County. I am hoping to see if he has a daughter named Sarah around 7 or 8 years old on the census. His wife I believe is also named Sarah. This has been one of my brick walls and the first lead I may have. It is true about the grave markers. I received an email last from the attorneys for ebay stating they have removed the posts for the sale of those markers.
