New Vienna is located at the southestern end of Clinton County, next to
Highland County. I would check Probate in Clinton and Highland counties
as it is very possible that it could have been either county at that
time.

I am looking for my wife's cousins who are descended from Selby Hudson, b. 23
Dec 1780 in Worcester County, MD; d. 23 Jul 1858 in Clinton County, OH.
Selby Hudson was married twice; first to Hetta (Peggy?) Davis, 19 Jul 1802
and second to Elizabeth Richardson, 5 Jan 1808. He moved his family to Brown
County before 1820 and to Clinton County a few years later. His children
were:
By first wife Hetta Davis
1. Thomas, b. 11 Feb 1804
2. Catherine, b. 16 Jan 1806
3. Benjamin, b. 26 Dec 1808 (1807?)
Hi,
I am looking for information on Daniel STEWART b: around 1828
supposedly listed on the 1870 census for Clinton County. I am hoping to
see if he has a daughter named Sarah around 7 or 8 years old on the
census. His wife I believe is also named Sarah. This has been one of
my brick walls and the first lead I may have. Cany anyone help?
Thanks so much, Valerie
I have lots on the descendants of this family who married into the
Palmer family of Perry and Ross Counties.

It is true about the grave markers. I received an email last from the
attorneys for ebay stating they have removed the posts for the sale of
those markers. They do not condone the stealing and selling of grave
markers. See the Rootsweb archives of the IBSSG mail list for more info.

I would be interested in learning about NEW VIENNA also. My ggmother, Dora
Ora TRENARY DICKEY was born there 1/23/83. Dora was adopted (perphaps
unofficially), and no one in the family remembers whether she was born
TRENARY and adopted by DICKEY, or the other way around. Also, my grandmother
only remembers the names, not necessarily the correct spelling (so TRENARY
may be TRANARY,
This came on one of my discussion lists.
