I can't locate the burial site of my Aunt, Kathryn McNerny Russell. She died
April 30, 1943 in Atlanta, GA and her body was shipped to Cleveland where
she was buried. The Funeral Home involved, Rinear-Lambert, is now out of
business. Can anyone suggest any source of cemetery records? I don't see
much available in the Family History Library films. Any help appreciated.

Hello,
Can anyone tell me the location of 10 Garden Street, Cleveland in the 1870 time period? Also, do the Cleveland City Directories of that early period typically include street maps and guides to the neighborhoods or wards?

I have found quite a few marriages listed that I would like to send for the
application. Can someone please give me the address to send the request to
and how much each copy is? Who does the check get made out to?
Should I enclose the print out sheet that shows the names and volume and page
number? Is there a limit on how many I can send for at one time?
Any information appreciated.

Looking for the obit on Neil F. Barrett, my brother. Don't know what year.
80s I think. Lived in Euclid. Thanks to you I now know where my mother and
father are buried. I placed a marker on both graves (Brooklyn Cemetary) I've
found my maternal grandfather and mother and my ggrandparents. Also, found my
paternal grandparents. Made this orphan feel really good about being a
natural Buckeye.
God Bless!

Several years ago I tried to get my mother's records from the 50's--they were
no longer available. But, it can't hurt to try... Also, tried Fairhill State
Hospital for records from the 60's---they're not available, either. A doctor
friend wrote both hospitals, on my behalf thinking there might be a better
chance. But, the records weren't there to be had in

I am looking for anyone that might have a connection to a Winslow
family that was in this area around the early 1830's to the 1840's. His name
was Jeremiah Winslow and his wife was Clarissa Sawyer. He had 4 or 5 children
in NY and then the same in Ohio for a total of 9. Supposedly he was born in
1791 Me or Ma. and his wife 1800 in NY. They journeyed on to Illinois to
Dewitt Co. where they both died and are buried there. It is not just his
immediate family that we are interested in

Hi List,
I am looking for anyone who may be or who may know any descendants of Howard
Whipple Green who was living in Cleveland Heights in 1950. I recently came
across a newspaper article from Wilton Maine, dated August 11, 1950 that says
that he travelled to Maine with his wife in search of info on his great
grandfather, Moses A. Green of Wilton. Well, Moses is my ggg grandfather and
I have recently traced the family line back to the immigrant ancestor,
William Green. I would really enjoy sharing
Have gotten myself a bit confused while obtaining birth certs and admit most
of it was poor organization on my part.
I digress.... I'm needing 5 birth certs from the years 1879 - 1899. I have
the birth date & years so a search wouldn't be necessary. Have 2 questions:
1. Am I correct that I need to write to Cuyahoga County Probate Court to
request these?
2. Also what is the cost and who should I make out the check to?
Thanx ever so much.
Sheila
