During the 1820 census, I believe William Smiley was living in Fort
Greenville. He is not listed in the index. Would there be somewhere else
that the military could have been listed during

I have received several nice comments regarding the obituary index

and have done some further investigation. If you send for an obit. the cost
is $2.50. However it is possible to visit and do your own lookups.
Below is additional information on the location, and their web site gives
details as to hours. There is also a Rutherford B. Hayes Home and Museum
that is open for tours.
