I am trying to find the last resting place for Elijah Timmons who died in the 1860's and his wife Elizabeth (Betsy) who died in the 1870's in Harrison Twp..Elizabeth was living in New Madison in 1870. They may be buried at Greenmound Cemetery but I do not know that for a fact.

Job Westfall died in 1839 in Indinaa. His first wife was Elizaabeth Terry and his second wife was Jane Hays Miley. Does anyone know if he was in the war of 1812 and did Jane collect a pension?
Will anyone contact the sexton for Greenmound and First Universalist Cemeteries in New Madison, Harrison Twp. I am trying to locate the final resting places for Elijah born about 1798 and his wife Elizabeth born about 1802 Timmons (Timons). Elijah would have died in the 1860's and Elizabeth in the 1870's. They are not listed in any tombstone inscription book found to date. I will pay any expenses. Thank you. Dave

Shields (1810-1871), s/o Patrick Shields & #1 Mary Fogle.

I think we may have one answer to ONE dilemma.
Diane Gagel, a REX relative, has shared this.
After James F. Shields' parents died, he is was reared by his maternal aunt
and uncle, William and Mary Brown. James in this 1850 census appears to
thus be living with them and to have the incorrect age recorded according to
Diane. He should have been 9 years of age in this census.
