I have cemetery records on the Bender's that are buried at Riverside Cemetery. There are 3 Joseph Bender's buried there. (1) Jos. A. Bender died age 1 mo 14 days Cholera Infantism (2)Jos. August Bender died age 1 yr 2 mo 4 days Cholera Infantism (3) Jos. Bender age 60 yrs 11 mo 9 days Strangulation by Hanging. What I don't understand are the 2 infants. If you count back you find that they had the exact birth date....Twins?? Well if there were twins, would they give them the same name? According to the

Can someone please do me BIG favor? I need a 1920 census lookup on Joseph Bender wife is Caroline. According to the 1900 Census their last residence was 803 Ottoway Ave, Defiance OH. I am looking for anyone that might be related to John. J COMPO and Carrie COMPO (born: Aug 1887). Carrie's maiden name is BENDER...I have lots of info on Carrie's family, except I don't know if Carrie had any children. I Know that Carrie and her husband resided in Defiance, OH. I looked on the internet and found two COMPO's that are currently living in Defiance and I have already sent them a letter asking if they are related. 10. [OHDEFIAN-L] Newspaper Look Up [1]
I would like to know if someone can do a newspaper article look up for me. I just found out (Thru cemetery records) that my gg grandfather (Joseph BENDER) died on 12-June-1911. What puzzles me is that the cause of death was by "Strangulation by hanging". Can anyone PLEASE look in the Defiance Newspaper around this date to see if an article was published....I need to more about the details of this "Hanging". thank you!
