Were you able to go to the library and find the articles on James and Sanford Hastings? My cousins and I are talking of coming back again, but one wants to drive cross country and I just can't be away from home that long. I'll fly in again and stay in Bellevue which was very convenient to all the places we wanted to go. I have so many more things to research now. Ann in CA

The following came to me from another site. I do not see OH or IN people, not to say there aren't any up, yet. Good luck - by the way - this is free! The GenExchange has just begun to load the 1917-1918 World Wide I Draft Cards information at http://www.genexchange.com/draftcard.cfm The Draft included men born from 1872 to 1900 and the cards usually include date of birth, place of birth, nearest relative, residence at that time, employment, general physical description. This could prove to be interesting

Patricia, do you have a Milton EDWARDS in your line? He lived in Sandusky and married Esther Powers there before 1850 and moved to Macoupin county, Illinois. They show up in the 1850 Macoupin county, Illinois Federal Census with several children including an orphan cousin of Esther's a David A. BOOZE, who later became my great-great grandfather. Any help here would be appreciated. Pat Hansen -----Original Message----- From: almenami@aol.com [mailto:almenami@aol.com] Sent: Wednesday, February 14, 2001 1

I have an autograph album that belonged to my great grandmother Katherine "Katie" Bachmann who was born in Vermilion in 1876. The pages are dated February 1889-February1892.. Most of the people who signed the album wrote the little poems you frequently find in autograph albums. The following is a list of the family, friends and schoolmates who signed Katie's album. Some signatures were a little faded and some writing hard to read, but I think I have most of them correct. Hattie ABELL, Anna ACKERMAN, Be
