This (once again) came from another site that I am on.
http://www.homestead.com/pensioners/invalid.html
This will take you to a page that you can then choose the state you want to search. All states are not there - but it *was* 1813. If you go to the left of the screen you will see an 1883 Pensioners link and an 1890 Veterans and widows Special Census.
Good luck!

find anything yet-
Let me say that Claudia has done a fantastic job with the Wakeman, Huron County site. Now I know that I am into 'cute' - but even if you don't have any connections to Wakeman - quickly click on the site, stay there on the main page and you will see a darling covered wagon go down the street of old Wakeman!

If it were not for Claudia, I would not have found the information of my TIMBS. I always wondered who owned the property before the REAs bought it. Then William TIM

of any children for them. The only other info I have on him is "Was in

My cousins and I are talking of coming back again, but one wants to drive
cross country and I just can't be away from home that long. I'll fly in again
and stay in Bellevue which was very convenient to all the places we wanted to
go. I have so many more things to research now.

The following came to me from another site. I do not see OH or IN people, not to say there aren't any up, yet. Good luck - by the way - this is free!
The GenExchange has just begun to load the 1917-1918 World Wide I
Draft Cards information at http://www.genexchange.com/draftcard.cfm
The Draft included men born from 1872 to 1900 and the cards usually
include date of birth, place of birth, nearest relative, residence at
that time, employment, general physical description. This could prove
to be interesting
Mom,
Do you want me to bring my genealogy over tomorrow and you or I can photo
copy it? Just let me know.
PS... I saw your posting to Debbie on Erie county Message board.

I have an autograph album that belonged to my great grandmother Katherine "Katie" Bachmann who was born in Vermilion in 1876. The pages are dated February 1889-February1892.. Most of the people who signed the album wrote the little poems you frequently find in autograph albums. The following is a list of the family, friends and schoolmates who signed Katie's album. Some signatures were a little faded and some writing hard to read, but I think I have most of them correct.

Just to let you all know that the city of Bellevue is in 4 counties:
Seneca, Huron, Erie, and Sandusky. It sure complicates the situation
for researchers in that area.
